Prince Edward County Sandbanks

Giant sand dunes and golden beaches form two of the largest freshwater baymouth sandbars in the world here, on the shores of Lake Ontario.  You can rent canoes, kayaks, paddleboats and bicycles to explore the area or just sunbathe and swim at Prince Edward County Sandbanks.

Prince Edward County Sandbanks Provincial Park features 549 campsites in five campgrounds. There are 140 campsites with electrical service, and each campsite has a picnic table and fireplace grill. Drinking water taps are close to all sites. Washrooms with showers are scattered throughout the campgrounds.
